In this book Dr Cragg has brought together a collection of prayers and other passages from writers of both faiths, which show the common elements and kindred themes in Muslim and Christian prayer. What Muhammad and Christ are to the Communities that name them is in these prayers, yet they are the prayers only in the name of God. They express the quality of being ‘alive to God’ which both the Bible and the Qur’an commend.
