In 2017 Doug Gay delivered three Chalmers Lectures to the Church of Scotland, exploring their history and current crisis, and proposing structural change to enable the church to effectively navigate the future. You can search the lectures up online but they were then published as: Reforming the Kirk: The Future of the Church of Scotland. It makes for an interesting and provocative read.
